Dr. Bain noted that some of the problems that the patient complained of were due to a "weak chin." His chin was disproportionately small compared to the rest of his face. At the initial consultation, it was decided to perform an open-rhinoplasty and place a low profile/extended chin implant.
If you look closely at his picture, you will see that this patient had a scar on his chin before the surgery. This existing scar was used as access for the chin implant. Chin implants can either be placed through the chin or through the mouth.
This patient had liposuction of his abdomen performed at the time of his nasal surgery. He was very happy with his results.
Dr. Bain makes every effort to protect his patients' identities and privacy.
