This next patient is a 41 year old woman who did not have a defined neckline. She had waited many years to finally decide to have her surgery. At her initial consultation, she stated that her biggest fear was having an operated upon look. She was adamant that people not look at her and know that she had an operation.
Dr. Bain discussed various options with her. In the end, a necklift and a mini-facelift were performed. This was done to make a subtle change from her face to her neck, where a more dramatic change was to take place. Her procedure was done with sedation and local anesthesia. She woke up and went home a few hours after surgery. She had no bruising to speak of and was back at work in two weeks. These photos were taken 4 weeks after surgery. She is still slightly swollen, but is very happy with her results.
To add symmetry to her face, Dr. Bain placed a chin implant to help balance her face. There are no extra scars for this procedure. In addition to that, the mini-facelift made her face more angular and less round looking.
Dr. Bain makes every effort to protect his patients' identities and privacy.
